This is a prototype for sequel/remake of one my previous projects, Blasters: Pandemonium. Think of this as a minimum viable product; there isn't much implemented as of yet, but enough is there to where you can get the general feel of the game. Here is the brief overview of the gameplay:

This is a wave-based survival game where your goal is to protect the four crystals from incoming enemies. Each wave is divided into phases: the prep phase, where you can access the shop and place down buildings for defense, the swarm phase. where enemies will spawn, and the boss phase, which happens every 5 waves. 

Controls:

WASD - Move

Mouse - Aim weapon

Left -click - Fire weapon

Right-click - Lock onto nearest enemy

Shift - Dash

B - Toggle builder (Prep phase only)

F - Access shop/Toggle builder mode (Prep phase only)

Enter - Start next phase

Esc - Pause
